What I do

I am an award-winning designer with a wealth of experience managing world-class teams to create best in class user experiences for some of the world’s best software developers and brands.


I always advocate for the end-user and am passionate about creating simple and elegant solutions to problems that create compelling and rewarding gameplay loops that keep users coming back to my games for years and years.

As a day one, pre-raise team member at Space Ape Games I was instrumental in the growth of the company from 0 to 120 people in 5 years, while ensuring we maintained our culture as we grew, mentoring, supporting and empowering more specialists as they came onboard.

I was at the forefront of creating a UX-first development culture centred around delivering an outstanding experience to our players. I jump-started the design of in-house tools to provide an environment in which developers and artists can quickly iterate on ideas and was instrumental in the rapid development and prototyping of almost all of Space Ape's upcoming titles and a number of deprecated prototypes.

I delivered key titles enabling the company to grow to over $250m+ in revenue and 90m+ players, winning many accolades along the way including Best Independent Studio, Best New IP, Best Strategy Game and numerous Best Places to Work awards.

Space Ape Games was partially acquired by Supercell in 2017 at a $90m+ valuation.

Pocket Burger Games

Pocket Burger Games was founded as a remote and creator-first studio to create breakout games in under-served categories. As veteran mobile developers, the co-founders had seen so many weird, fantastic and wonderful games lost to time that we decide to build our own studio that would release those games.

Pocket Burger’s games don’t appeal to everyone, and that’s okay with us… we make games people don’t know they want yet!

I have been involved in all aspects of running the business from raising funding and business development to recruitment, creative direction and product development.

  • Creation of original company branding, logo, style guide and marketing assets.

  • Provided wireframes, flows and visual design for multiple titles (Samurai Siege,  Rival Kingdoms, Transformers Earth Wars).

  • Provided ongoing support for features and SAAS functions for live titles (Fastlane: Road to Revenge).

  • Responsible for recruitment and management of small team of UI/UX Designers.

  • Creation of a UX-first development culture centered around the player experience.
